experiments
ObjéeSujée serves as my creative playground, where I explore a variety of techniques and materials, always open to new possibilities. The beauty lies in the unexpected shapes that sometimes emerge, adding a unique touch to the final Sujée. I thrive on blending different techniques and materials, aiming for a harmonious result, valuing the creative journey as much as the destination. What makes ObjéeSujée truly magical for me is the absence of limits in both the artistic process and the potential outcome of each new object. For instance, using rocks with pleasing shapes as stamps is a testament to the innovative spirit.
materials
ObjéeSujée is committed to sustainability, from the materials used for the sujées to those for the packaging. Every component is thoughtfully selected with sustainability in mind, minimizing the use of plastic materials. I employ glass beads to secure the mobile forms, dried leaves to craft unique sujées, cardboard for sending the fine art prints, and silk paper or cotton bags for wrapping the delightful items. I kindly ask you to handle these pleasing goods with care. When you take them home, please do so carefully, and consider reusing the packaging whenever possible.
calming movements
In the rush of today's world, nature is my refuge. Watching the fluid dance of wind and water, or listening to the soft flow of rivers, I'm mesmerized by the ever-changing shapes that appear and vanish. The magic of fleeting moments and the allure of small details never cease to captivate me. My kinetic mobile, like leaves swaying in the wind, embodies the room's essence. Whether it's a serene setting or filled with fresh air, it casts dancing reflections and shadows on the walls, resonating with the soothing energy of nature.
inspirations
I discover boundless inspiration in the intricate forms crafted by nature. From the graceful contours of stones and leaves to the fluidity of water, the organic patterns of wood, the intricate details of fungi and flowers, and the ever-changing shapes of clouds, bubbles, and landscapes — each element offers a unique muse. I am captivated by the diverse layers of shadows playing on a wall, the enchanting color gradients in the sky, and the delicate beauty of a dried leaf, finding endless fascination in the subtle wonders that surround us.
behind the scenes
Since my childhood, I've been crafting collages, drawings, and objects using flowers or paper cuts. As an adult working in various graphic design roles and industries, I often felt a longing to engage in hands-on creativity. In 2017, I made a conscious decision to actively create by hand once again. By 2023, (two kids and one pandemic later) I finally started developing the concept for ObjéeSujée. Since then, I've committed at least one day a week to this passion project, hoping to see it flourish and evolve.
